No reviews yet. So let us introduce ourselves.

We opened in September 2026, and skin takes weeks to change, so nobody has had long enough to tell you what N/FORM did for theirs. When they do, their words go on this page exactly as they wrote them, good and bad. We will never write a review ourselves, and we will never pay for one.

Until then, the most honest thing we can put here is the two of us.

Fenna and Stan side by side at a kitchen table, with a cleanser, a serum and a cream from N/FORM in front of them.
Fenna and Stan. Sister and brother. We started N/FORM together, at her kitchen table.

It started with Fenna's skin

I'm Stan. The woman next to me is my sister, Fenna. For as long as I can remember, her skin has been the thing she thought about most and talked about least.

By eleven every morning her cheeks felt tight, as if someone had starched them. By the afternoon there were dry flakes beside her nose, and foundation clung to every one of them, so she stopped wearing it. A richer cream fixed that for a week, then broke her out along the jaw. Half of what she tried stung. The other half did nothing she could see.

So she did what everyone does. She bought the next thing, and then the thing that promised to fix what the last one did. When she moved apartments, she packed forty-one bottles off one bathroom shelf. Most of them were still half full.

"I wasn't neglecting my skin. I was doing too much to it, in the wrong order, and nobody selling me the next bottle was ever going to tell me that."

Then her brother asked the questions nobody had

I build software for a living. When something keeps breaking, you stop swapping parts and start asking what it does, and when. So one Sunday at her kitchen table, I asked. How does your face feel an hour after you wash it? Where does it shine, and by what time? What stings? What changes in winter?

Written down, her answers made a pattern the shelf never had. Her skin did not have forty-one problems. It had one: it was losing water faster than it could hold on to it. Her foaming cleanser stripped it every morning, and the heavy creams she used to make up for that smothered the parts of her face that were never dry.

She did not need forty-one bottles. She needed three, in the right order: a cleanser that left her skin alone, a serum that put the water back, and a cream that sealed it in.

Eight weeks later, she stopped checking mirrors

The tightness went first, inside two weeks. The flakes took longer. By the eighth week her skin felt the same at six in the evening as it did at eight in the morning. At our cousin's wedding that summer, she wore foundation for the first time in years and did not check a mirror once.

Then people started asking her what she had changed. Her friends, then their friends, then our mother. Every one of them had a shelf like hers. That is when a sister with the skin and a brother with the software decided to build it for everyone else.

Nothing went on sale until Fenna had worn it

Fenna set the rules for the formulas, and she did not bend them.

  • Research first.

Every active ingredient is there because published studies back it, at the strength those studies used. We list every one of them on our research page, so you never have to take our word for it.

  • Her face before yours.

Every formula went on Fenna's skin, morning and night, for weeks before we would sell it. Not all of them made it.

  • Three, not forty-one.

There are 17 formulas on our shelf, and you will only ever be sent the three your skin needs. We will never sell you a fourth to fix the third.

Fenna & Stan

It starts with the questions I asked Fenna.
